Questions people ask
Does the length change?
No. The pitch shifter stretches the audio and resamples it so the duration stays exactly the same.
How much can I shift without artefacts?
Two or three semitones are usually transparent. Larger shifts start to sound processed, especially on voices; that is inherent to pitch shifting.
How do I change the key of a song?
Count the semitones between the original key and the target key. C to D is two semitones up; C to A is three down.
