Why is the GIF larger than the video?
GIF stores every frame as a full image without inter-frame compression. A short MP4 of a few hundred kilobytes can become several megabytes as GIF. Reduce the width or the frame rate to shrink it.
Can I make the GIF loop only once?
Yes. Untick “Loop forever” and the GIF plays once and stops on the last frame.
What is the maximum GIF length?
The tool caps a GIF at 900 frames, which is a minute at 15 fps or 90 seconds at 10 fps.
Is the sound included?
GIF has no audio. If you need sound, keep the clip as a video and use the trim or compress tools instead.
